One door closes and another one opens

After 14 years of selling my handmade goods and custom wire wrapped jewelry on Etsy, it was time to make some changes.  I contemplated theses changes for about a year and a half, when Etsy once again raised it's sellers fees.  I opened a second store at Zibbet but at that time they were going through a major overhaul, adding an option for multiple platforms managed from their website.  Seemed like a great comcept so I opened two webstores there, but unfortunately after deciding to try it again Zibbet sold the platform and they closed in June 2021.  Etsy is no longer the great place for  handmade sellers that it was when I opened my store in 2006.  I knew I wanted to make changes at the end of 2019 but life has a way of getting in the way of things, and I did not seriously look to alternatives again until the beginning of March.  With the increased sellers listing, transaction, seller shipping, and processing fees, I now find myself netting less than 25% of what I was making in previous years.  Not GOOD!

As of July 2021 I started a new shop at myebooth.com.  They charge no fees!  They take zero commissions!!!!  That sure sounded good to me.  It's a slow process.  Listing all of my products, uploading pictures, and fine tuning is not an easy thing to do, but I am slowly listing my products.  It's a work in progress.  I hope to get everything listed and photo's uploaded by the end of August.

I am also making lots of new items that I now have for sale.  I still make custom orders.  I carry a large array of incense, smudge bundles and smudge supplies, and handmade candles, beard balm, paw wax, hand painted feathers and rocks, and so much more.

Please stop by and take a peek and bookmark us so you can come back often to check out our newly added items.  As always we thank you for your interest in LV's Beads n Things and Twisted Whisker Creations.

Below is a picture of one of my handmade wire wrapped creations.  It is a Picture Jasper cab wire wrapped in copper and embellished with little wire wrapped pine trees, kind of a signature of life here in the northern Panhandle of Idaho.  I will be making more of these types of pendants as this one sold immediately on Facebook before it ever got listed.  Gotta love my Facebook friends and buyers too!
